Terms of Service
Last updated October 18, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Autom (“Autom”, “we”, “us”) and cover your use of the Autom website and app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use Autom for a business, you agree on its behalf.
1. Who can use Autom
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account, for keeping access to your email and sign-in method secure, and for everything done under your account.
2. Plans, credits and billing
- Autom is sold as monthly subscriptions. Each plan includes a set number of credits per billing period, and each generation costs the credits shown in the app before you run it.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
- Credits from a subscription expire at the end of the billing period they were granted for. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- You can cancel anytime from your settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable, including for unused credits or partial periods.
- We may change prices or plans. Changes to an existing subscription take effect at your next billing period, and we will tell you before they do.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload (garments, designs, photos, references) and of the text you enter. You give us a limited licence to store, process and transmit that content only to run the Service for you, including sending it to the AI providers named in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, and the consent of any identifiable person who appears in it.
4. Generated images
As between you and Autom, you own the images you generate and may use them commercially, subject to these terms. AI output can be similar to output made for others, and the law on protecting AI-generated work is unsettled, so we cannot promise that an image is unique or that you can register or enforce rights in it. Check images before you publish them; you are responsible for how you use them.
5. What you may not do
- Create content that depicts, or appears to depict, anyone under 18.
- Create sexual or nude content, or content that is hateful, harassing or violent.
- Upload or create images of a real person without their consent, or use output to deceive or impersonate.
- Infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, likeness or other rights.
- Break the law, or help anyone else do so.
- Get around credit limits, safety checks or access controls, overload the Service, scrape it, or reverse engineer it.
- Resell or share access to your account without our permission.
We may block requests, remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Third-party services
Autom relies on third parties for payments, sign-in, hosting and image generation. Their availability is outside our control, and some features may change or stop if a provider changes its service.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account anytime from Settings › Security; this cancels your subscription and permanently deletes your images and uploads, so download anything you want to keep first. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that we must close by law. Sections 3 (licence ends when your content is deleted), 4, 8, 9 and 10 survive.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected or imperfect. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Autom is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You will defend and compensate Autom for claims arising from your content, your use of generated images, or your breach of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Autom after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
